We all have our demons, but Tyler has a "Goblin." The first track is basically Tyler talkin to his dark side (or his conscience as he calls it in the second song) It is minimalistic, but is an interesting listen, can't deny that. There is alot being said, and a f***of a lot of swearing and talking of some innappropriate stuffs. All the songs do, but what makes this record so strong is that it's real, and isn't ot made for " ...the billboard top 20 and jam of the week/I'd rather listen to Baduh and pusha the t/And wacka flocka flame instead of that real hip hop thats full of the sh*t/But they wanna critique/Everything the the wolf gang has ever released/But they dont get it/Cuz its not made for them/The n****a thats in the mirror rapping, its made for him/But they do not have the mindset, that is same as him/Im not weird, ur just a f****** shame on him" and then he goes to say he's not homophobic. "Yonkers" has this addictive beat and takes a shot at Haley Williams, while Bruno Mars gets hit by a grenade and B.O.Balmost misses his flight/ You know the next song is going to be controversial when there is a random disclaimer that tells people not to do anything in the song which has a nasty refrain, He sounds real p*ssed off, unbelievably angry, and the emotion he relays makes it a stronger, and the final two minutes even more rewarding which sound a lot more laidback, and nice instrumentals. "F*** your traditions, f ***your positions/ f ***your religions, and f*** your decisions/ See, they're not mine, so you gotta let em go/see, we can be ourselves, but you gotta let us know." "She" is a change of pace on this record that talks a lot about sex and the act of it. It's a nice song that might be good to...Frank Ocean appears on the track. "Transylvania" seems to be in the perspective of Dracula, or his therapist. There are so many lyrics to choose from this "Nightmare," but I'll try this: "Annoying and I'm ugly, most n****s wanna punch me/I'm surprised the f***ng doctor even touched me/Feel like Humpty, you hoping that I'll fall? F*** y'all/I'm Ace, I'm parentless, I'm kinda arrogant/Ignorant as f***, defend people for the hell of it/Because I am the devil, f**** get on my level." We'll just say his lyrics can be really abrasive, and hateful. I don't like to dwell on or revel in hatred or negative energy, so listening to stuff like this is an experience. One of the verses "After chronic masturbation, askin' where Mary Kate went/I wanna be the reason why all lesbians hate dick" on "Tron Cat" or "Rape a pregnant b****and tell my friends I had a threesome" I know;t he flow change at the end is nice. "Her" is a song about a girl that he secretly likes, and there is no way can say that without making it sound sappy. Hey, everyone needs lovin. Even if he urges the kids without parents to kill those with dads and moms, 401ks,and nice lawns, but he admits "I'm jealous as sh*t, cause I ain't got no home meal to come to/So, if you do I'm throwin' fingers out screamin' "f*** you." on "Sandwitches" featuring Hodgy Beats. The abrasive delivery may make him out to be a real negative and spiteful person that should be locked up, but also there is room for empathy in these tracks. He's just expressing himself, and releasing steam the way he knows how, and even though he's talking about horrible things it's better than actually doing some of this sh**. "Fish" has a soulful hook and mentions Taylor swift again, coincidence? There is a break of silence and the last two minutes go with a different type of flow again, a lot of talking about this certain (boppin) b**** that has him at the clinic cause his wang is swollen and keeps itching. The end passive is kind of humorous if you do not ytake it too seriously, especially with the help of his conscience on the hook, but "B*tch Suck D*ck" is as abrasive as it sounds. If I look in the "Window" I see a more laidback, and dreamy track; or as dreamy as can be, and a nice break from.. Oh wait "You f****ing critics are making my nerves hurt/ Since I'm saying f*** everybody, I guess that I'm a f***ing pervert." Then he talks to his conscience who asks him to get him backstage tickets, and he says f you, the conscience tells him without me you wouldn't be Tyler the Creator, and then he gets mad, and shoots people. Then he's ticked off because he says "you're supposed to help me." Like his therapist, who is supposed to listen to what he has to say; that is what the therapist is paid to do, but this one was just not trying to understand his strife and looking at thim with those "I'm better than you, you're a piece of trash" eyes. Well, he did shoot someone,on the prev song. "Au79" is a nice drum heavy instrumental break. There is another argument between his conscience and Tyler who proclaims "Im not even human, im a body shaped demon/With some semen in my sack/And some bodies in the back/And a life thats filled with c***/And a finger filled with hate/And a gat thats filled with love/Not that opposite attract I can finally be one." "Untitled 63" is another nice instrumental passage that leads you right to the "Steak Sauce" that has a staring contest with Ray charles and a threesome with the Biebs and Gomez "...until the kids come in, umm/After Tron Cat I got the rat shook and I ain't even have a hook/For the white kids to sing along/I don't wanna sing a song, f*** that/ Now cyber bully sissies on my little sisters Macbook/I got you niggas nervous like a pop/Tryna ask a virgin how a vegan daughter where the cock goes/Wake up, wash a--, go and eat some Rosco's/Head back to the studio and munch up on some tacos." Well, at one point he mentions when he remembered he was doing it for fun, but now it's starting to be like work, and he has no time to skateboard. In one song he menitioned don't let people tell you you cannot do something; i'm paraphrasing. This disc is very dark and full of verbal and audio venom which could kill within the first minute. As said before I don't like to focus on negative shizz and there is a lot of dark, poignant wordplay and emotion in here, so much depression it could eat one alive. To listen to it again was a challange because it is so dark, and it has a negative effect on me, so I think' I'm done with this record for awhile. If I had to choose eight of the lesser goblins they would be: Goblin, Yonkers, Radicals, She, Her, Fish, Window, and Au79.
