The “Floating Vibes” seem to be positive as you listen to the song, but when you wake up in the morning and are told to take a f’n napkin and watch it dissolve, you think otherwise. Why don’t we just take a morning “Swim” to clear our heads? It has this percussive attack and this nice swimming solo at 1:07; this is a real nice song with plenty of positivity. Hold on a second, this is not a race! Just “Take It Easy” on the horns, and the cowbell. This song sounds like one that Vampire Weekend might write on the “Run.” I know it doesn’t sound the same because \there are definite differences such as that drum sprint at the end, but similarities are present as well. “Harmonix” could have had them as the best of friends but no longer will it be seen again. This is a nice song, but did you know that it has a beat this side of Billie Jean? and some light ringing which causes visions of handholes made by the Ting Tings, with changing colors! Nifty! Neighbors can be a pain in the a--, or if you are lucky they can be real cool; almost like family. These two guitars live next door to each other and enjoy rocking out these “Neighbor Riffs” with this nice steady quick paced beat mediator and the surf-rock style guitar. You know what stinks about having twins in a competition? It is hard to tell them apart, and you almost want to see both of them together, but there comes a time when they must separate. These “Twin Peaks ” are really nice though, even if one sounds like a cross between the rodent that sang “The Hamster Dance” and Shirley Temple in the beginning. There are two more relatives that have a similar problem, “Fast Jabroni” and “Slow Jabroni,” but the tempos are easily different, the sentiments are similar, but the endings are different. “Fast Jabroni” has his heart broken into with a battered head, and jelly limbs. “Slow Jabroni” is more hopeful and takes it’s time; maybe taking it slow in the relationship so it does not crash and burn? That flame has his heart thawing out in the end, as long as Georgia says yes, and Atlanta will pay airfare it will work out fine. A trip to “Anchorage ” can keep one busy, because I guess that’s where all of the action is. This girl has it going on in places she doesn’t belong? Some people trying to relate; Wolves feeding on flesh; and this girl that has a reputation that she can read her own mind? Wow! Lovely harmonies, nice instrumentals, but hopefully they don’t bother the “Catholic Pagans” which give nod to Obama, bomb shelters, and a Russian bride? If I could choose five audio surfboards to surf on the "Astro Coast" I would: Swim, Take It Easy, Harmonix, Neighbor Riffs, and Fast Jabroni.
