Foster The People "Torches"

"Helena Beat" or is it just this hook that may or that endingand that may have one go crazy? Maybe it's these "Pumped Up Kicks" The track is a laid back bass-driven, catchy indie-pop whistler that gets better after subsequent listens. that has them thinking about everybody's shoes? Is this guy with a quick hand one with a cold heart? the surprise is the gun? He found a six shooter and his pops is mad? Well, who's surprised?"You know those days when you want to just choose/To not get out of bed, you're lost in your head again."The former is pretty catchy and has some tribal drums for a couple seconds. "Call it What You Want" but "Yeah we're locked up in ideas /We like to label everything /Well I'm just gonna do here what I gotta do here / 'Cause I gotta keep myself free," and this song is very atchy and can be addictive."Don't Stop (Color on the Walls)" starts with this acoustic strumming and humming there are some chipmunks about! Catchy hook and chorus.I just "Waste" so much time saying the same thing over and over again.Do you hear the bells? "How long?' I say, how long will you relive the things that are gone?/Oh yeah, The devil's on your back but I know you can shake him off." the chorus is real repetitive, but so is all choruses."I Would Do Anything For You" is clap heavy, with this funky piano that comes in spaces, and a synth passage followed by strings. "Houdini" magically has your feet dancing, with that little beeping synth after the minute and all the while the piano sways back and forth, the synth is probably my favorite part, but the beat and same piano note loop is good too."Life on The Nickel" is a song made for the discotechque with those sparse piano notes and catchy chorus it's beat heavy. "Miss You" is hand clap driven number witth muted synth, and funky bloop, some hammond? It has a killer last minute that abruptly comes to a halt. "Warrant" starts with angelic harmonies slowly builds starting with drumstick claps that then opens to a steady beat and then a nice solo after 2:12, and some nice piano with slightly distorted vocals as he sings "He was like a fake friend who warms you up and takes you in/You mouth the words but no sound comes out," and that bass.If I had only 5 torches to pass: Helena Beat, I Would Do Anything For You, Life On the Nickel, Miss You, and Warrant.
