Broken Social Scene "Forgiveness Rock Record"

I may be "World Sick," but I don't know if it's because of this beat and those harmonies. It seems as if the dance party picks up after three minutes, yet it sounds similiar yet slightly more in focus. You want some different kind of music for a "Chase Scene?" I suggest you use a song such as this which has a pace made for these types of scenes and starts great with those boomerang horns, and then it picks up when the drums come in around.1:25 and only gets better as the song goes on with an ending made for the horny. "Texico B*iches" has me "Forced to Love" almost every song on this disc! The former has a driving dance beat, some group "howls," keyboard, bloops, and bass, while the latters sounds like it starts it off with some awesome flute, and has a good breakdown. "All To All"I think i have said enough, but the track has that shimmery distrorted riff that sounds almost on The Edge and drum machine disco beat with vocals from Feist as well as some string on the other side of the world. "Art House Director" is an indie-rock song that would make jazz and reggae proud with it's reggae like beat and prominent sliding, grooving, and punching horns.  "Highway Slipper Jam" has some country twang with some whistling and a nice xylophone sound-alike ending. What to do with an "Ungrateful Little Father" but swear and revel in anger. It starts with a good old-fashioned rock and then adds some elctronic flourishes at the end. Drums, if you drive to my house could you "Meet Me in the Basement," and then synth you can take us home? "Why don't you have to drive us anywhere?" Because the strings have my car, remember? It is such a a beautiful song that sounds like a modern update of classical music. The "Sentimental X's" make for the "Sweetest Kill" on these two tracks, filled with heart; they may break yours yet not dripping too much sentimentalty where it causes you to slip on the floor. There is a spacey breakdown in the former, vocals of Emily Haines, horns, and something in this song reminded me of the intro to Christmas Vacation; no lie. The latter is slow, with tag team vocal interplay, and as they try to figureout their lives I will try to figure out how to describe this song. "Romance To The Grave" may swing to the Rythym of Love in the beginning, but it becomes it's own song in due time, another beautiful song."Water in H#ll" is a doobie doo-wop singalong funk kind of song performed by an indie-rock band that then decides to be country between three minutes and 3:36. "Me and My Hand" is an ode to one's lonely friend that will always be there, so they will always have a partner in crime.Yet the song sounds sentimental, it doesn't sound sleazy at all; it's funny how it works. If I needed to think of only 8 ways to forgive someone I would play: Chase Scene, Forced To Love, All To All, Art House Director, Highway Slipper Jam, Meet Me in the Basement, Sweetest Kill, and Water in H#ll.
