"Never Tear Us Apart" has this riff that reminds me of a time when I was Cryin that it wasn't the same and drumming that seems to go in a quicker pace than the guitar is allowing so it sounds interesting; INXS' version is slower and the drums do not try to outrun the guitar, and there are strings and sax. SO while they both are nice on their own account, it will either depend on mood or state of mind you're in to decide which is better, or which is better for you at the time.Spike Splawson almost sounds like BB King on this one. I'm "All Out of Love" throws out the piano, strings, and the slower pace for something a little faster. However the soul and sentiment, is still there, just different. I've "Got Friday On My Mind" still keeps that great riff and harmonies of the original by the Easybeats, just a little quicker. "Have You Ever Been Mellow" speeds up the chorus and has him yelling at several points; it's not the same as there are no strings or piano, but also seems like it would be a good example of how the other gender may handle it emotionally."I've Done Everything For You" has him starting with a yell and speeds up the pace which also has a nice beat and plays a nice solo; it generally seems a angrier, not too angry though, unlike Mr. Springfield's version which might have people singing Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go, and dancing like George Michael.Wham! This is pretty short, and all the songs rare pretty good on their own merit, It's not that long just check it out.
