"Leak Over Six Five (No.14)" has nothing but instrumenal passages leaking out of the studio, and now I am wet. It starts off slow with a nice horn and sturdy beat but then gets a little faster, and the guitar just feels like showing off, or is throwing up. I cannot tell."Sequential Tears in It (No. 20)" has a laidback beat with some cymbal crashes, and a wandering riff that has no idea where to go. "Hey bud, how about you go this way, just follow me" That is distorted or out of tune sound. Rascal was a rabbit. I'm tellin you this is more background music, Killer background music. "Mile High Like (No. 16)" starts pretty fast, and favors the trumpet and the cymbals have to be second favorite, oh yeah? you want to race? Nevermind, you cannot keep up anyway. Finally some nice playing that isn't showy or just noise, with the trumpet, and there it comes again this tuning...holy S*** i't's raining cymbals, and now hailstones. Everybody stay under a building for the next few minutes, please. Saxophone starting at 3:55 is really nice, and wait when did the trumpet get in? "5:00" he was supposed to be in at four. I was, "No you were not, you left me all by myself; you don't care do you?" asked sax. "I DO, I just overslept. Time: 6:04 Guitar//Ok guys, it's my turn, and you have been fighting for over a minute.// there is a definate soothing synergy..Guitar//Wait a second I thought you two were getting along. No, we were just caught up in the "Moon Traps in Seven Rings (No. 17)." I really like the riff that starts the next song that is slightly distorted, and screechy, but it sounds real good with the percussion, and then it goes back to that canoodling again. But have no fear! There is this latin vibe that then just fizzes out. This "Sea Seizure(No.19)" was probably the best one could have, without causing any traumatic damage. Would a sea seizure be a tsunami? First a tsumnami, and Now we have to deal with a "Crack in Sky (No. 11)?" However, it's not as bad as it sounds; soothing to the ears actually, and there is a little piano. The guitar actually wants to play nicely for once. "I think it's because it's coming to the end of the world that he has realized to stop being so abrasive." There is a nice groove in the next track before it slows down around two minutes, and then we go back to some more foolin around after four minutes. Drums are all alone, "where did everybody goooo?" the drums need their time to shine; I will say that the beginning was the "Right Size Too Little (No.12)." Another long track this "Crescent White Singe (No. 13)" almost gave me an itch, the horns blasted me in the face, but missed by an inch."Cold Mirrors (No.15)" is very low key and just has the guitar tip-toeing most of the time, and sometimes walking. Ah "Saturn Sings (No 18)" its sweet song as this record is finally finishing up,with a great song too. If I had to choose 7 other planets to revolve around the sun I would choose: Leak Over Six Five (No. 14), Sequential Tears In It (No. 20), Mile High Like (No. 16), Sea Seizure (No. 19), Crack In Sky (No.11), Right Size Too Little (No. 12), and Cold Mirrors (No. 15).
