If you don't feel like dancing to "Marry The Night" then you have a problem because that groove where the chorus is pure dance magic, as well as the last synth heavy minute. We need no introduction for this next track, one of the biggest pop hits of 2011 and an anthem for you freaks, geeks, losers, minorities, or people that are different, those words mean nothing, because those words don't define you, you were "Born This Way," and she says it's okay to be who you are and embrace your personality. BE YOU!!!! It is an awesome dance song with a positive message. There is a "Government Hooker" in our mist, and she is dirty dancing with the president! JFK? "Judas" has Gaga working her freaky pipes and gets into a nice beat after 2:40 and proclaims "In the most biblical sense/I am beyond repentance/Fame hooker, prostitute wench, vomits her mind/But in the cultural sense/I just speak in future tense/Judas kiss me if offense/Don't wear your condom next time" which then leads into strings and her lovely vocals. "Americano" starts with a those cinematic strings and then some flamenco, followed by this beat heavy clapping, and a tale of someone east of LA. This is a very dance heavy track with that beat the singalong chorus, and horns.Clarence Clemons starts of this "Hair"-cut with some nice saxophone, and a metaphor of her being as free as her hair; and there are a lot of nice instances where this works real well in the song. The driving synth and beat, as well as the saxophone, and that powerful message "Why can't I be who I want to be?/(Uh huh, uh huh) to be/I just wanna be myself/And I want you to love me for who I am." Isn't that what we all want? "Scheibe" is another made for the dance floor song which starts "I don't speak German, But I can if you'd like. Oh!" and dabbles in a little.I like tomato juice, but I don't think Iwill ever be in the mood for a "Bloody Mary," as she sings in a more laid backstyle with a beat driven sounds that sounds like a laidback dance song with slight gothic influence guided by synth and drums "We are not just art for Michelangelo to carve/He can't rewrite the agro of my furied heart/I'll wait on mountain tops in Paris cold/Je ne veux pas mourrir toute seule," and this scream sounds so right at 1:25. "Black Jesus + Amen Fashion" with its nice funky key touches, synth, and
"Listen to my relevation/Underground pop civilization./Won't create poetry to feed my mind, oh/ Symbolism was left behind." I think I like the "Bad Kids" and the intro of this song, as well as the recurring riff in this funky and dancy confessional with biting self-deprecation, some nice keys and beat."Fashion of His Love" has this nice percussion, and lovely vocals about how she is meant to be his shirt to wear, and how she has found the perfect guy, and will not let her be worn by other guys."Highway Unicorn" has this very addictive beat, strong message, and a sound made for dance clubs the size of stadiums with this grandoise backing instrumntals and chorus that can rival U2, if they felt like dancing."Heavy Metal Lover" has some awesome vocal effects as well as the instrumentals in this song. The next song starts with a nice riff in the beginning as well as a nice solo, and is basically about going to an "Electric Chapel" to confess your sins, and dance your way to penance and absolution. I think "The Queen" needs a little weight to bring her down fom the clouds and make way for "You and I" which uses a sample of Queen's We Will Rock You, and has a piano driven country flavor. Really nice, she doesn't always sing clean but she's not always singing in a jarring delivery either, but I do like when she sings in different tones, styles, and accents, but it loses its taste when it is used too much.My sister commented that this was one of her favorites from her and that she sounds normal on this song. The final song on disc one of the deluxe or on the standard is a nice driving song with some more great saxophone by Clarence Clemons about finding that love where you will follow them to the edge of the earth or "The Edge of Glory." If a country artist had writen Lady Gaga's biggest hit of 2011, if not of her career, than it would sound like "Born This Way (The County Road Version)." It is a real awesome version with some nice guitar,a great beat, and some harmonica. Then the rest of the tracks are remixes of Judas and Scheibe by Dj White Shadow, Marry the Night by Zedd, and Fashion of His Love by Fernando Garibay. If I had to choose 11 Songs to declare my identity I would use: Judas, Americano, Hair, Bloody Mary, Bad Kids, Fashion of His Love, Highway Unicorn, Heavy Metal Lover, Electric Chapel, You And I, and Born This Way (Country Road Version).
