After 10 years in the battlefield this “Soldier of Love” returns through “The Moon and the Sky” with this beautiful first song of love where one side would give the world to be with the other, but that apathy just hardens and causes crust to form in the eyes and the other cannot see; they could not even give the slightest care, and the heartache that taxes the other side can leave them bankrupt and their heart almost non-existent. “You could have let me love anyone but I only wanted you/So why did you make me cry/Why didn't you come get me one last time/You'll always know the reason why/We could have had the moon and the sky/You'll always know the reason why this love/Reason why this love/Ain't gonna let you go/You lay me down and left me for the lions.” This “Soldier of Love” is not giving up living, nor giving up the use of her heart. :I’ve been torn up inside/ oh I’ve been left behind/Oh so I ride/I Have the will to stay alive/ in the wild west trying my hardest/Doing my best to stay alive.” This “Morning Bird” has a lovely song to sing with a heart-crushing piano and some maraca that gives the “Babyfather” a love and dedication that knows no bounds; with nice keys and a tipatapatipatatitithump. This “Long Hard Road” is one perfect for picturing a night scene after a heart-wrenching breakup and a river of tears, because the end is a bittersweet one, because the heart was saved from inevitable and never-ending peril. Whoever said love can “Be That Easy” knows not of what love actually is because for most people the act of you know what is all too easy; now it is laughable to a good part of our generation if they have not had it by their early twenties Friends with benefits? That just doesn’t seem right, and didn’t Ashton fall in love with his friend? It’s always good to start any relationship with a friendship, but not with benefits because the act of sex confuses the mind into thinking its love when it most likely is NOT. Ok, enough of this and just “Bring Me Home.” It is a nice driving and contemplation vehicle with a steady hip-hop beat and light piano in the back; the oil that keeps the song working as it should, and the lyrics are what drive it. “In Another Time” we may find solace, or tears won’t leave a trace in another place,. There is some nice easy saxophone and piano, and strings coming round four minutes. This is a song from one heartbroken woman to another, with strong sentiments and genuine feelings of empathy. Does the color of “Skin” really have to affect how most of us treat one another? This song uses the example of Michael Jackson really effectively because he altered his skin color because when he looked at himself in the mirror it reminded him of his father, and he did not want to remember the anguish and heartache that followed when in the presence of his father. He admitted this in an interview years ago, and I remember him saying it. these most directly correlatwwith what i’m saying "I love you so/Sometimes love has to let go/So this time don't think it's a lie/I say goodbye/Now as I begin to wash you off my skin//I'm gonna peel you away/'Cause you're not right within.” Usually, “The Safest Place” for most is home, but not everyone has that luxury, so they hope to be consoled in another place, with the heart of someone else who they can trust and rely on. The game of hearts is so easy to take part in, but the risk of heartache is high because not everything is made to last. IF I could use seven arrows that hit my heart they would be as follows: The Moon and the Sky, Soldier of Love, Babyfather, Be That Easy, Bring Me Home, In Another Time, and Skin.
