The New Pornographers "Together"

United we stand, and divided we fall, but "Together" we can make music timeless as ever. They have got the "Moves," and those"Crash Years" come at the speed of "Light a candle's end/You are a light turned low/And like the rest of us/You got those old eternity blues." The song that reminds me of you, but I Haven't Met You Yet; Odd."Your Hands (Together)" with mine feel so fine and this rhyme is so much less than divine however, this rhythm is slightly off kilter as the riff seems like a car trying to start until the end where it slowly glides away; the strings are audible, but add that feeling of airs . This "Silver Jenny Dollar" is ambrosia to the ears. I know this is just "Sweet Talk, Sweet Talk" but when a piano is on a trampoline, it is often more fun to bounce with more than just one.. "My Shepherd" keeps my thoughts in line, and preventing to be led astray into the darkness; so would that make the shepherd my conscience? I prefer to stay in light, and avoid dabbling in the destructive power of hate.  The track may lead us into the Suite Lines. "If You Can't See My Mirrors" you must be "Up In The Dark." The latter is a great rocking track that has you rolling on the concrete, but I suggest you put more than just knee pads because it could get dangerous. The former treads lightly with horns There's a "Valkyrie in the Roller Disco," on second thought you may be fine just wearing knee pads because this one is very gentle, but, as always, I suggest a helmet. The beat is hopping, and the the hook just took "A Bite Out Of My Bed." Typical, maybe all it wanted was some attention; maybe if I had hummed too it would have left it alone. is minimal on lyrics but has plenty of horn to go around. Did you read the ending first? Is that why you had revealed you were one of the "Daughters of Sorrow?"  You read that "We End Up Together?" That's great! Oh, wait you hate my guts, well why do you have to read the beginning first? You know the old saying "if you assume you make an -ss out of you and me." I mean can't you just give me a chance? If I could only Choose 6 possible dates I would choose: Crash Years, Silver Jenny Dollar, Up in The Dark, Took A Bite Out of My Bed, and Daughters of Sorrow.
