Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti "Before Today"

Who wants a massage? " I'm sorry, but I don't know you, nor do I trust you to give me a 'Hot Body Rub' because you're a guy." Typical; ok, enough foolin around, and let's just say that if you like sax then this is a good start. He is lo-fi, or is he just high, what's with all these "Bright Lit Blue Skies?" with lovely harmonies and some more sax,Yeah! Synth, sfx, and a driving start, that fizzes out into a riff that reminds me of a Storm Coming,  but ends with some clinky piano and a great last minute on"L'estat (Acc. to the Widow's Maid)."  and the beating heart kept getting louder, and louder, and louder until the ability to think was impaired.; only thinking of that wrong commited, slowly driving him insane! Cry bretheren! Cry "Fright Night (Nevermore)" The next song has me going "Round and Round" with its trippy and catchy harmonies, low key/low volume funk, several choral passages. "Beverly Kills"  urges the organ to sound funky, and the bass to follow suit, It sounds like it has a disco backbone, and even a tarzan voiceover? Sounds like it."Butt House Blondies" has grunge/ metallic tendencies,  and "She's dumb, and she's dumb/Cuz she really really thinks that/She's dumb/Butt-house blondies/She used to care/Butt-house blondies/She used to be stoned at sixteen
Now all she knows is that she can breed," He sounds like David Gilmour on this song, or it's most obvious here, and he has this screaming guitar in the song. By the way, stop screaming so loud I "Can't Hear My Eyes!" or this sax solo and a riff that reminds me of a 1980's song that may have been by...I cannot remember, but this next song may be able to bring out the "Reminiscences"  which is supposed to be a cover of an ethiopian pop song "I Remember a Man." How can we forget "Little Wig?" The next track, "Menopause Man" is four minutes of bliss. Cop Out! You lazy F***! Hey, did anyone tell you that  "Revolution's a Lie," and that the organ can still sound powerful without causing "Sleep" to enter the eyes? 'Before Today' I Didn't Know These Would Be Some of my New Favorite Songs:  Bright Lit Blue Skies, Fright Night (Nevermore),Round and Round, Beverly Kills, ButtHouse Blondies, Menopause Man, and Revolution's A Lie.
