"Overture" is a lovely start to this soundtrack, but one that sounds a little less dafty. "The Grid" is definately more like them with a voiceover from the movie, and the distorted rock skippin with synths. "The Son of Flynn" will save them all! At least we hope so! Unless the "Recognizer" gets him first, with thosee ominous horns and the synth causing a digital shark to come up to the surface ready to attack! The beat slows his attack, so the victim can see he approaches; don't you just love technology?! Those swimming strings and ambience save him just in time. Well, since this will not be easy let's go to the "Armory" to get some weapons because we'll need 'em. That low bass note with the strings just seem to prepare us for a digital storm a brewing, or maybe that is the anxiety about to explode once we arive in the "Arena." That's funny; it starts quiet and then the synth builds to imitate the realization of "Holy Shoot! I'm going to be fighting for my life in a second!" and the drums come in just seconds before that realization hits at the end. "Rinzler" must be my adversary, and I would like his cool theme music with the dinuh-nuh-nuh dinuh nuh nuh and the tension building strings and gradual speed change of drums and strings. Have you heard? "The Game Has Changed." The fuzzy synths, the drums and strings played on a mountain far away, and one played right in front of your ear, and that boomerang horn. The "Outlands" have the strings running faster, it sounds like a scene of green numbers falling on a screen, maybe a little Matrixy? Then this lovely asrpeggio changes it a little bit after 2:10. "Adagio For Tron" has a romanticism that you would believe not possible for a movie such as this. The sad violin is cued after a death, a memoir must be made. "Nocturne" is one of sleepless contempt. A little rest before the "End of Line' never hurt anyone. You can almost hear the bloops of an old atari game, and the floating synths, as well as this 1-2-1-2 drum machine beat."Derezzed" to kill aren't I? I'd rather not, this music seems much better for dancing, and sounds more positive than previous tracks. Short but Sweet! The fuzzy synth and build up of tension as we prepare to go to the edge of the cliff has not prepared us for the "Fall" unfortunately. "Star Sailer," as you make a wish on the milky way, just remember what I say, friends can be friends and also can lie, just make sure you read the look in their eye. "Rectifier" is angry, and may be a little brassy, but I cannot help but see the motorcycle like vehicles with that track. The "Disc Wars" is what everybody comes for. That time shifting solo as Kurt Russel looks on his oppenent, as well as the arpeggio of the last minute of the song make this song. What does "C.L.U." mean? After two minutes it kicks into high gear, and look, we've got compny ominous horns screeching strings and horns, drving strings and horns, and big fat beat.We must prepare for the "Arrival' of the loss of family, one of our members has seemed to become caught in this deadly incident. I see smoke (from, like, cigarettes) and the horrified face of the father as he sees tha there is no possible way anyone could have survived that. What's with that horrible look on your face? You're not happy to see him? "Flynn Lives." Hooray, the music is cheerful enough to emulate a hero's return, or the discovery of a champion not dead.Tron Legacy (End Titles) is just awesome! and will help you think i've just saw one of the best movie effects movies of the new millenium, as well as experienced some nostalgia all at once. How cool! The synth and horn are a good bridge between old and new part one and part two. That was not intentional, and then I said just type it. All good movies or series must have a good "Finale," and this one starts with those prominent horns Now it's time for the best songs to compete in a disc war: The Grid, Recognizer, Arena, Rinzler, Outlands, Adagio For Tron, Derezzed, Disc Wars, C.L.U., and Tron Legacy (End Titles).
