Manchester Orchestra "Mean Everything To Nothing"

Am I "The Only One"to feel isolated? Probably not. What about the only one to say that the next song would not be as effective if this one did not come first. It has this great riff and driving percussive attack asking if you are tired of being alone, then going in this short break of vocals before screaming "Shake It Out," and then a short sparse bridge with piano notes broken by drum beats  as Andy Hull declares "you'll never know"and a scream at the end. "I've Got Friends," well, at least I hope I do, and that they are more than just people that know me, but care about me too; as I do them. The song has this strong beat with some slight distortion and the vocals delivered with a lot of emotion. "Pride" can be someone's worst enemy, and deter that person from success, but they do not believe it. The song starts really quiet and slow, but after a minute it picks up and continues to slowly build up ith this great riff throughout and as it is about to hit a climax it fizzles out. Would you be able to tell me if I have anything "In My Teeth?" well, Andy said he felt a black man in his teeth and goes on to say talk about jesus; that he is in disguise as a teen/young adult and that everyone should act their age, reveals a theory of his arrival, etc. I AM FINE I AM FINE! I JUST Need "100 Dollars" which has him screaming that he doesn't need medication to help ease his depression, only one hundred dollars which is a short, but angry number. "I Can Feel A Hot One," a slow, soft, introspective song that may be the calm before the storm? "My Friend Marcus" wanted to sing the title in the lyrics followed by a scream and hoot, with a slow beat metronomic beat that continues for about twenty seconds after vocals end before petering out."Tony The Tiger"asks the price to be a beggar, alone but free from everything, including shelter, and maybe a chance at redemption. So what is the price? Is it a good life? Isn't it all a matter of subjective opinion? "Everything to Nothing" left before mean was ready, so he won't help me review this song because he said it was my fault. "Jimmy, He Whispers" is sparse but focuses on the heartfelt lyrics and the heartache and introspection that created them.  Just one more time down "The River" with its slow beat synergizing with an acoustic guitar before screaming oh G()d I Need it!" O-M-G! Now he sees.IfICouldOnlyChoose7SongsIWouldChoose: Shake It Out, I've Got Friends, In My Teeth, 100 Dollars, I Can Feel A Hot One/My Friend Marcus, Everything To Nothing, The River
