"Legendary Weapons"

Known for their samples of kung-fu movies they also use a couple more Legendary Weapons on this record, and no, not literally. Some funky guitar and bass, prominent percussion, witty wordplay from Raekwon and RZA "Start the Show." The first weapon is one that is sought constantly by those in the biz; to some, it's marijuana, but to others it is known as "Laced Cheeba." It may be the least lethal of those weapons, and its effects are dependent on the person because it is known to have both types(positive and negative). Ghostface adds some flavor to the broth that may be bland, while Sean Price keeps it going to tell us where we stand, but Trife Diesel says "you rap poorly, that's why your cassette's corny." Yeah I know, I feel I may be running out of "Diesel Fluid" because I seem to be losing my wit. What wit? I'm a twit, and most of what I rhyme is full of s***, but don't mind me mind the lyrics this time. "C'mon, yeah! You fools don't have a clue, do you?" And neither do I, but if you assume everything, you will never understand if you don't try, and most couldn't give one faux cry: the instrumentals play it second, so you can really pay attention (to the lyrics). I seem to have been "Played by the Game (Interlude)," and the sample that is used says something that could not be more true, but '"that's the general mentality out here" so forget it.  Some of us may "Never Feel This Pain" that inspires this music, but even so that does not mean one cannot appreciate the music, be empathetic, or understand the struggle even "if you walk the same road, talk the same code" or not "Cause I ain't seein' nothin' I heard, really nothin' but words." Many can say they're more than just words, but audio therapy. Killa Sun has a  "Drunk Tongue," but when you're inebriated you are more inclined to tell the truth without the fear of consequences. So I was given "The Business (Interlude)" to avoid finding the rest of these weapons, and I laughed. I take some funk, add a splash of bumpin' piano, sax, and we let off "225 Rounds." Probably one of the most coveted of the weapons would have to be the "Meteor Hammer." It sounds so strong, filled with anger, as I tried desperately but I was desperate, so leave me be, as I stutter without the focus or Termanology, so I try to grab it out of the hands of the millah get smacked in the face by Ghostface Killah, and I thought he was busy, but I was just dumb, no Action Bronson, while Shannon can choke on the cum. I thought I had died, but did you hear? True samurais can "Live Through Death (Interlude)," but I can still expire because it's also been said that "Only the Rugged Survive." I may be slightly rough around the edges, but I'm neither rugged, nor a samurai, so in this war of wits I'm most likely to die, because those verses by RZA made me cry. In the end, some of the most dangerous weapons can be words; depending on who wields them they can be a great force for change, or cause the ultimate destruction of its target. Words can cause others to kill, themselves or others, or can inspire to create a more beautiful world. The master blacksmiths choose to fight ignorance and  hatred; which usually causes the barriers more so then four walls.
