Agnostic Front "My Life My Way"

I wonder if this “City Street” is big enough for two Fred Dursts because the main vocals have durst’s slight rapped in a subdued hardcore, gang vocal stomp. The next song is “More Than a Memory” to me, but a more angsty, adrenaline pumping anthem that has a solo played in this song; not only that, but the similarity between Miret and (do I need mention again?) in the delivery is less apparent. Yeah, second is best! The title track seems to be one of the most pop-minded of the tracks (still filled with drive) despite the vocals in disagreement. But Hey! The Ramones made it work! SO take that however you want to, but I will continue to live “My life My Way,” and hopefully brighten the lives of others around me. If I say that this song tries not to sound just like you, with quicker percussion, thrash aesthetic, more determination, and less whining you can’t really do anything about it. “That’s Life,” get used to it; song is WICKED by the way. “I don't have anything to prove/I've done it all, and I still can/F*** You!”. There is something that draws me to the next track, but I’m not sure what. Is it my “Self Pride?’ I don’t have much of that, but I do have my intergrity, so no go. The lyrics and message? (1/3) Or maybe it’s all of this blood and thunder? (2/3). I will try to spread as much love and positivity as I can “Until The Day I Die.” These lyrics are so true: “You take the good with bad/But always hold your ground/You see who’s really there/ When you are down and out” because people show their true colors when strife is about. “United we stand, together we can't fall” they manage to rise against and give it all their energy; they probably don’t care if they break into the mainstream, but this song sounds more likely to give them the chance if it was released as a single than track four would. “The Sacrifice” they have madeto forge this path for future band’s success was selfless; considering how those band may ened up becoming more well known, but that was not their intent. I may not be able to understand the lyrics, but I can easily understand the emotion and drive of “A Mi Manera;” the delivery and flow in the chorus kicks pure a--. If you lose yourself to the control of he who covets your soul it is easy to assume you may become “Your Worst Enemy. “ Who can argue that “The path you take/Is the world that you create/It’s what you make of your time” does not ring true? If things don’t go your way it is much easier to blame anyone other than you. You’re hungry, and have lost of ambition but you find that you have “Empty Dreams.” The “Time Has Come’ to end this review, and I will say this. I like to give all kinds of records a try, whether they have critics raving, or have a name or band that sounds interesting; I tried it because of the latter, and I knew of the producer through his work in Hazen Street. It was not a perfect record, but there were some obvious standouts, and my expectations were definitely exceeded.
