Belanova "Sueno Electro II"
Belanova had released a sequel to their Sueno Electro, I’m just listening to the first song y me siento “Marisposas” en mi estomago. “Flash Electrico” is all about the sights and sounds, as well as the sensation, but not the feeling; sometimes you just get caught in the moment, and if you were focused on feeling all the time you would become emotionally exhausted. “Todo Mi Amor” sounds like the sequel to the opening song in the first Sueno Electro. I will play this song “Hasta el Final,” and then I won’t ever play it again; not true. The song relies more on acoustic guitar and mariachi horns, with some occasional synth to let you know it is not forgotten. If you would like to know the song that is known for the having most aural attitude, it would be “Infame.” It sounds the closest to a dance-punk song. Beware de la “Luna,” the moon is full of time altering synth. La mayor sorpresa está ahí, no, es definitivamente “Aqui.” The song is a twangy slide guitar-led ballad. “Dulce Amor” Lena Katina joins the band on a re-recording of “Tic Toc.” It’s nice, but it wasn’t really needed. There are two remixes of Mariposas, one by Sussie 4 and Capri. Remixes often add nothing worthwhile to the original, they just change it. These remixes follow suit, but they are good. The little changes alter the mood, or tone, of the original. They are both worth a listen, if you are interested. While there were not as many original tracks on this album there was more diversity on the record. The last one was good, but there was more experimentation which strengthened their sound instead of weakening it.
