"Life Prowler" with it's pounding beat and spacey keys have me thinking all that "Glitter" ain't golden, and that distortion annd screeching, that can be pretty annoying gives you a headache and endure a fit of "Fever Dreaming." But if you think you're going to get a break, good luck, this one has these screechings imitating an elephant ( a really tiny one because of the high notes), with the steady beat and guitar played with attitude, there is this nice peaceful spacey break at the end. "Depletion" of that ear-splitting screech was a good idea; now we can hear a harmonica in the back, well it's sound like it, as well as a da-da-dada riff. I feel a "Common Heat"with its acoustic strumming at a quicker pace. The next song is "Skinned" of its distortion and everything else except these keys that then meet the drums foolin around at 0:53,that sound as an occasional pitter patter of rain, and distorted guitar noise as you hear the vocals under the sounds of thier friends.I'm thinking of a "Katerpillar" after listening to this instrumental that just has this keynote that sounds roomy, enough to fit a human catepillar in; maybe it's just th title. "Valley Hump Crash" is a fun song and has this nice riff going through it, with trademark vocals that are barely audible, but it's all good. This song gives good vibes. I'm becoming out of "Sorts" with this drum roll beat and then vocals much more audible "I don't wanna be a bitter one" and lyrics about a relationship gone better without its existance. "Dusted" has this loop of guitar strum and a clop clop clip-clip clop clip beat. Can "Positive Amputation" exist without any negative connotations? Well, it's surely painful, but needed to prevent a spread of infection which could eventually kill the sufferer. There is violin in this song, piano, and distortion, of course, which airs out at the 2:37 mark, allowing a nice finish on strings. Maybe it is positive after all, but it worked well with the distortion, so it was good. "Shed and Transcend' has this punky beat with cymbal crashes, while covered in distortion that drives it home before 3:19 in the morning. "Chem Trails" has this nice atmospheric reveb guitar and poppy keys from space, with a nice guitar solo. Go Beat GO! I mean, go team go! IFIHadToChoose7SongsIWouldChoose: Glitter, Depletion, Skinned, Valley Hump Crash, Positive Amputation, Shed and Transcend, and Chem Trails.
