Vanilla Ice "WTF"

The first track tells everyone to "Turn It Up,' but the dance mash-up with some funky squiggles, studio tricks, and catchy groove may embarrass others, so they may do the opposite. I am not going to even mention the flow, or the fact that he growls or says silly things that can cause him to be compared to Lil' Jon. YEEEEEAH!(He doesn't say that though). I didn't hate the first track, but he next song is better in all aspects, and focuses that energy found in the first one to create a song that would be perfect to track a "Rock Star Party." Listening to the next song seems like it may just put you in a good mood with that hook, and the light strummed instrumentation, that seems to drive the girls wild; the verses are pretty nice too. Our favorite rappin' cowboy stays for the "Good Times" too! NO! Did I say "All-American Bad-A--?" No, Cowboy Troy! (at one point I thought of Pitbull because of his yeee-haw). The theme for the "Cadillac Ninjas" is not that bad with its vocal distortion, as well as auto-tune, sirens and a prominent beat; it would be fine if you rolled down the 818 ol' school ninja style ( and some hydraulics), but if you took the lyrics and placed them in a rap battle it might be a different story. The next track is a different story, and not only do the lyrics tell one, but the production that is like a "Nightmare Disco" make it for an interesting listen; some may think of Britney Spears, though. Sequencing of songs can completely change the perception of a record, because if you have a similiar type of song six times in a row that can get boring. The next song seems like there was no accident, in sequencing, writing, and production; it is probably one of my favorite songs not just because it samples This is Halloween and stitches it with some epic horn and strings bad-a-- beat in between, but the lyrics are some of the strongest, featuring the Insane Clown Posse, that tells a story about the man "Born on Halloween." Listening to Asian flute...I'm wit dat. What about listening to the synth? I'm wit dat. How about the delivery and the verses...I'm wit dat! "Man them haters wanna hate?" I ain't "Wit Dat." The next track's hook, the bass, verses, guitar and the whole production of this track are much better than I expected. I was not "Bought and Sold" but he does mention Dre and Em, and Hova too. I will write my own reviews 'my way', so forget you and your pre-conceived notions. I always try to focus on the positives of every record because I realize the work that most artists put in the albums, and some critics can be so negative just for the f of it. "Do you wanna be  person, or just a personality?"Gripping! The muted metallic guitars in the background mesh well with the prominent fore-front beat and really sharp hook( even if the vocals sound slightly out of tune, but they still sound good). The entertaining, dreamy, and slightly stoopid reggae sound on the next track doesn't sound like it was completely phoned in; I mean there are only four numbers "5446," and then I'm reminded of Tim Armstrong. "Oh Momma" this next song is quite short and the chorus can make you laugh with a friend or cohort, a country-western flavor with a message, that warns "mommas don't let your babies grow up to be strippers..." because a certain life will be had , and "you can only wear the thong for so long.": which seems to have little future, kinda sad. I will only say few words about the next song, and that is his "Mission" was clear. To be 'hooked (unplugged),' if you will is not so bad i mean fter a while you get used  to it. The delivery is not bad, but it seems like it lost something during production( brain cells) I know it's really sarcastic, and is probably meant to sound stupid, but just give it a chance... "Da Ha Da Ha." He doesn't care, and I'm not sure if he is serious about wanting to party with the 2008 Republican VP candidate. There is a Brandon Bishop remix of "Bought and Sold." First impressions can be everlasting, and this album does have the power to change that, but only if you give it a chance.
