Sleigh Bells "Reign of Blood"

The ringing of these bells does not only alarm, but warn of a Reign of Terror.  The blade they use has a sharper rock edge, but this one is made of metal; why not start with a concert setting in N’awlins with a “True Shred Guitar?” If it is true, and you believe it, then maybe you were “Born to Lose.” Someone heard a whisper of suicide, and with no hope in sight that seems to be the first choice most choose. The guitar aligned with the subtle carnival-esque accompaniment and the shouts, and sexy whispers of Alexis Krauss take us into the tunnel of love, or dream, around the three minute markI wonder who she has a “Crush” on. Is it Tarzan, because it sounds like she is in the rainforest or something. This may  be “End of the Line,” but I am reminded of a candle lit dinner in Venice; with a punk rawker. Whenever you see a group of goons coming to bully you do you ever wonder why that a—is “Leader of the Pack?” Me neither, but the dreamy sound has just transformed the scenery into a hill of daisies as the bullies frolic happily in slow motion. For those teams that seem to come out winning in the end, this is an anthem for you, and for those who feel this record is not as great as the last? This track proves this band can be a “Comeback Kid.”                                                           If on a traditional Sabbath, we see the being you believe in, but on a Black Sabbath do we see “Demons?” This song has its own, but despite its few flaws it is ever engaging. The “Road To H*ll” is paved with good intentions is what I have heard, but this one is paved by krauss’ coo, slightly expedited breathing, and an accompaniment argumentative with the prospect of walking in a land of fire and brimstone; yet keeps the level of eerie high enough. “You Lost Me.” Yeah, probably; wait there for a second I’ll pick you back up. Disparate sounds and emotions, and I swear I hear traces of Linkin Park and Angels and Airwaves; I “Never Say Die” because I really don’t want anyone to do so, and this would have to be one of my favorites. The final song is a good one whether “D.O.A,” but I don’t really have much else to say about it. My Favorites: True Shred Guitar, Born To Lose. Leader of the Pack, Comeback Kid, Demons, Road To H*ll, and Never Say Die.
