Owl City "All Things Bright and Beautiful"

With those 'Ocean Eyes' of mine it was easy to see what an inviting, addictive, and fun record it could be,but the sound may be a little too sweet to listen to several sessions in a day, or on repeat; to the point where you may need 'Dental Care.' Some of my favorites would have to be Cave In, The Bird and the Worm,Hello Seattle, Meteor Shower, and On The Wing and Rugs From Me To You, among others. One thing I must say is that this record is good during those winter months when we cannot wait to see 'All Things Bright and Beautiful,' especially when those winter months are are long, blistery, dreary, as ours. Odd, was that this winter was not too bad here, yet. 'The Real World' has been known to dissolve around young couple in the throng of love or a more experienced couple in a warm embrace; which is basically what the song seems to be about as this couple come together. The next analogy is so true, especially when that guy or girl get struck with cupid's arrow that mysteriously transforms them into a 'Deer in the Headlights' which the title and the lyrics lead me to believe; I gotta say I like the keys in this song ABSOLUTELY! Whether you see them or believe, there are 'Angels' around. Trying to capture the flame that the 'Fireflies' left on the charts with this track in terms of its arrangement and the same delivery style used in the aforementioned track; it's still a great song ,but one where 'Dreams Don't Turn To Dust.' The next song has a nice drum line in the song, and the vocal interplay between Young and the soft high vocals of Breanne Duren,  vocals as sweet as 'Honey and the Bee' kinda bothers the ears at the same time, sounds like a perfect match. The next song's vocal delivery has Young's  distinct vocals partnered with a lazy shout-core style alongside lush saccharine, soaring keys ready to crash like a 'Kamikaze.' The next track is a journey that began on 'January 28,1986' through the 'Galaxies' of good beats, lovely arpeggios and keys that sometimes move on the dance floor and sometimes sail on the milky way. Luckily, or not, in time for Young to receive the 'Hospital Flowers' in a song that is retrospective of a grave emergency and is more in the style of that seen by the Vanilla Twilight. Now we hear a song that is as fun a lyrical journey as it is an audio trip with lush arpeggios, the vocal interplay and verses of Shawn Christopher, strings, and the imagery the lyrics create; there was a reason this adventure soaring through the 'Alligator Sky' was the first single. SO is the next song one for the night club or 'The Yacht Club?' does it really matter? They seem really stuffy, and even though it seems pretty cool to be in an exclusive club it also seems like they force you to be someone you're not. Love sometimes may do that too, or maybe give you the courage to try things you wouldn't have. Even swim with the great white sharks would not seem as bad as asking that one special someone to dance or go out for dinner, or even wear that suit and possibly a polyester undershirt in ninety degree weather. OK, maybe it's not that bad. Such as 'Plant Life' seems to stand still, this song does the same, but remember most plants do something while staying stationary. ok, that works. Best Songs:The Real World, Deer in the Headlights,Dreams Don't Turn to Dust, Honey and the Bee, Galaxies,  and Alligator Sky.
