"And The Hazy Sea" begins with some horns and some distortion, experiencing hypnogoia until these killer screams come from knowhere and kick that hypnowhatthef--- to the curb. Screams? Yes, with a lot of emotion, but also ones with Indie credibility. The song is 6:13, and it takes bout five to fully wake up,so that's good it I'm having an off day. "Some Trees (Merrit Moon)" is a nice song to follow, but where for are though trees in the seas of the milky way? Distortion, Piano, Touch O' horns O' Malley, Guitarman, and our chums the drums make this trip to "Indiana" alright. Predictable? It's for you to decide. "Cold Spring" has a nice strings section and is more.Awww, do I have to "Share?" Sometimes it's better to find out yourself when listening to a new record. Let's just share that halfway in the aforementioned song there is nice synergy between horns and guitars. Drums? How could I forget you, without you this wall of sound would be stagnant, and keys came at the end, but you get recog too. "Wind Phoenix (Proper Name)" is a real nice rocker with several change o tempa and a good drummer. "Living North" makes you want to scream? or is it just the things that happen there? I don't know, you tell me. "Like Blood Does" is a slow rocker that has me thinking of being depressed "And I'm visited by naked reality/In the higher gloss of the cars that cut in front of me/And depression is nothing compared to what's in store for them/Having hitched across America/Like an itinerant laborer /Or a serial killer on pulsing arterials/I numbly recline /In a filthy slicked lawn chair/As our garage yawns behind me with tunnels/The pinkest sky I'd ever seen /Still pocked with dirigibles /And flying machines that opened up." The song then kicks into high gear at the 4:40 mark and finishes with a bang, but for the full and correct effect I suggest you listen to the whole song for correct effect. If I had to proclaim 7 of my favorite songs on a mountain I would scream: ...And The Hazy Sea, Some Trees (Merrit Moon), Indiana, Cold Spring, Share, Wind Phoenix (Proper Name), Like Blood Does
