Worries Little, I Will Only Critique the Magic! (Although Briefly)

An exclamation point often denotes enthusiasm regarding concepts or ideas, or the more physically tangible such as people, objects, and places. For that reason, I will refer to the band as MAGIC, and I'm not trying to be "Rude," nor is any there ill intent when writing this; even though their first single did intrigue me, and the second track convinced me to give the rest of the album a try, but I have yet to believe they are to that point yet.                                                                                                                                                         Am I a harsh critic? "No Way No," but I would rather remain subjective, and while Atweh's claim that his band is a "modern day police" is plausible in the context of the current pop landscape, which is neither disrespect nor praise of one band or the other, I will not compare the two.                                                           I happen to enjoy the latter track, and if you yearn for quicker paced songs "Stupid Me" and "Little Girl Big World" may suffice, or one such as "Paradise," but ballads such as "One Woman One Man" and the existential lite "How Do You Want to Be Remembered?" balance the effort.
