Needed or not ...

Ok so, before we start let's get it straight, I am not a writer, I only write things,so lower your expectations! I am not some acclaimed columnist who writes about music, just some kid who wants to write about music. There is a difference between a writer and a person who writes, and am an example of one who writes.                                                                                                                                                      Another thing, because it is not some acclaimed blog, don't expect only indie darlings. If I hear about an artist that has been raved about, or an album, I will check it out. I listen to all music, even the mainstream stuff, just because it is mainstream does not mean that it is bad, that is a lame, snobbish, notion. I usually make a top album list every year that often includes records from the calander year, as well as albums from the year, and now two years, before! I aim to listen to 200 records this year, and I have gotten to more than three quarters already! As for reviews, I am not sure if I will review every record I have listened to, but it has come to the point to where I think this would be a good idea to write some of this stuff down! A good deal of these albums will be from one and two years before, and 30% will be from 2011.
