"I'm sending this to those/Who fell down, but then rose/I'm hot, I'm hell bound with these flows." Taking the "Intro" into account I figured he has contracted coksure; big head, illusions of grandeur, and not much to say.

Five Finger Death Punch "American Capitalist"
What does a five finger death punch sound like to an American Capitalist?

Shooter Jennings "Family Man"
I am a fan of all of his albums, but his previous album will always have a special place in my heart. I was kind of disappointed to hear he would be cutting off his Black Ribbons for his new album,

Nelly Furtado "The Spirit Indestructable"
Her last English language album was pretty successful commercially and on the charts, so I was surprised that it fared as well critically. I guess it doesn’t hurt to get a little Loose now and then. That is not all that was unleashed, but The Spirit Indestuctable was freed as well; all part of Mi Plan (in her words though).

Matthew Good "Lights of Endangered Species"
Tinny, slight off kilter percussion try to align themselves with strings and piano "across a boundless sea prison shores ebb." Alone, as his vocals slightly waver to the realization that "Extraordinary Fades." I'm trying to place whose voice he sounds similiar to, but I cannot place it; I do like the tone in his voice. Only the good die young, and nice guys finish last; I don't believe that is truly "How It Goes," because the world would have been a darker place by now.

Kris Allen "Thank You Camellia"
Kris Allen had a better debut than I had expected, with the U2-esque sounds coming from the red guitar, and a song so heartless; which were some of the stand outs, but there were plenty of great songs before, between, and after, including the debut single Live Like We’re Dying. Sophomore albums are always tricky affairs, but this album seems to have avoided the slump, and for that we have to Thank You Camellia.

Rick Ross "God Forgives, I Don't"
Even though I felt he was a little overrated, I still respect “the (other) boss.” His last album helped me gain more respect for him, but it was this album that made me more of a fan. The 59 second “Pray For Us” sets the tone for the album in what sounds like a bada—intro.
